Founded in 2016 as a parcel delivery company, Safaripay has over the last few years evolved into a fast growing, reliable B2B/B2C platform that connects demand to supply. Our e-commerce platform offers digital solutions to small, medium and large enterprises.

What We Do

Safaripay is the first hourly, home delivery service in Kenya. Our platform specializes in e-commerce, retail, cloud computing, logistics and mobile money payment processing. The platform is Business-To-Business (B2B) and Business-To-Consumer (B2C) enabled, allowing consumers to buy from businesses and businesses to buy from manufacturers. The platform offers Cash On Delivery (COD) on all products that are on sale.

Setting Up A Digital Store

Vendors can easily register and use their mobile numbers, Paybill numbers/Till numbers and bank accounts as credit accounts. This is where deposits are made after making successful sales. Vendors will set up business accounts and upload a catalogue of the products that they sell, with detailed information like pricing and quality.

Secure Mobile Money Payments

The platform is equipped with a 2-step payment system used to securely process mobile money payments. When a consumer purchases a product from the platform, an m-pesa transaction is intiated which allows the consumer to deposit the total amount into our account, this is the first step. Upon making payment, the vendor is notified. The product will be picked from the vendor and delivered to the consumer. The consumer will receive the product and inspect it in the presence of the delivery team.

If the consumer is satisfied with the product, the payment is transferred to the vendors’ credit account. If the consumer is dissatisfied, they’ll login back to the platform and cancel the order, the product will be sent back to the vendor and the payment will be reversed back to the consumer, this is the second step. For consumer protection, the platform offers Cash on Delivery (COD) on all products that are on sale. This escrow payment system helps build trust between buyers and sellers within our ecosystem. This feature is free of charge!

Cash On Delivery

One of the main reasons that customers fail to buy online is delivery. Speed, convenience and cost is the most important for a customer. Our unique escrow payment system is helping businesses increase the frequency of purchase and retain more customers. Cash on delivery tends to boost the feeling of confidence and security for consumers while they shop.
